WHAT WE'RE ABOUT
92 & change is a movement rooted in civic engagement and education. WHAT'S HAPPENING IN OUR COUNTRY IS NOT A PARTY ISSUE. WE HAVE AN ISSUE WITH A DICTATOR AND A CONSTITUTIONAL FRAMEWORK THAT MADE IT POSSIBLE.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
It's 2026 and people are still wondering why "we" make everything about race.
Take what's happening in our country right now out of the picture.
The three-fifths compromise, an agreement reached between
the North and the South during the Constitutional Convention of 1787, defined enslaved and free persons as the status quo and enshrined
an ideology that enslaved persons can be counted as 3/5th's of a person for the establishment of Congress and voting rights.
This "compromise" enshrined an antiquated ideology
that white, male business owners carried sole legal and economic power.
Although ratified during the Reconstruction Era and 13th and 14th amendments, freedom and humanity were once again points of policy.
The damage was never undone and our political system has been using this clause as precedence to continue legislating our bodies and our lives.
Access to housing. Legislated.
Access to education. Legislated.
Access to healthcare. Legislated.
When does it end?
